Great, you’ve got a match! You can view all the Lead Feed enquiries you have matched with and any direct enquiries from guests who have searched and found your venue page on our site and hit the Enquire now button! Now it’s time to get in touch with them...
To find the guests’ contact details, click “guest details” and you will find their phone number, email address and preferred method of communication.
We recommend contacting them as soon as you see the new match, whilst your venue is still fresh in their mind.
There are several selectable statuses curated to help you track your performance with Lead Feed:
New: A guest has either sent in a direct enquiry or matched with your message of availability.
Contacted: You or the guest have been in touch with each other.
Won: Discussions have gone well and you will be hosting the event.
Lost: The booking wasn't made this time around.
Top tips 💡
- Some venues have fed back to us that texting/WhatsApp is the most effective way to reach out to guests. If you can't reach them through a phone call, why not try sending them a message to follow up?
- Keep track of your matches by updating their status in the Lead Feed. This way you can track your success on the platform, otherwise it will become difficult to keep track of your wins!
- Follow up with the guest if you don’t hear from them after 24 hours to see if they are still looking for a venue.
- Remember the Lead Feed is a lead-generating platform. You can keep their contact details to include them in future marketing campaigns to promote your venue! Even if the match doesn’t end in a win this time, they may like to use your venue for a future event.
